Why Adult Fantasy?

We believe that the blockchain has opened up new possibilities for decentralized creation and involvement in gaming, storytelling, and creative development. Equally, the opportunity to participate in this creative generation should include more than just the old guard dynastic media franchises.

What would happen if you could create official content as a fan of Marvel, DC, Star Wars, or other big franchises? In our creative universe, Adult Fantasy seeks to open up a world of possibilities for fan membership, creation, and participation.

We also believe that there is room for self-deprecating humor and healthy parody of the powers that be. Yes, epic universes can be both fun and rewarding. Your NFT purchases should be rare, digital, and collectible in a way that is dynamic, recognizable and fun.

This is why we are working to build a series of characters, a universe in which to expand, and ultra quality NFTs to launch our community on a journey of fun creative involvement supported by a team of industry professionals and fellow nerds!

Who is Adult Fantasy?

Adult Fantasy was founded by a group of friends with a passion for art, comics, animation, RPG’s, and blockchain technology. Together, we’re building the universe that we've been dreaming of for years.

As a team, we have decades of experience in building triple AAA creative intellectual properties for some of the top creative companies in the world including Marvel, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Warner Brothers, Kid Robot, and more.

We’ve worked directly with, and learned from, legends like Stan Lee and Jeff Koons, the most successful American artist since Andy Warhol.

We’ve created hundreds of animated commercials, shows and music videos. We’ve created comics, designer toys, screenplays, full-stack software applications, and online marketing campaigns. We’ve helped build and advise multiple successful tech startups.

We’re veterans in a variety of fields. Having been independent business owners for decades means that we’ve been around the block. We’ve had our successes and we’ve had our failures...and we’ve learned valuable lessons from both.

All of that time, experience, passion and relentless drive means one thing…we’re playing the long game.

Is "Adult Fantasy" pr0n or NSFW?

No. We're just old school comic book, art & animation nerds.

Where did the name "Adult Fantasy" come from?

The name “Adult Fantasy” started out as a play on old school comic book titles from the 50’s & 60’s. “Forbidden Love”, “Lonely heart”, “Strange Fantasy”, etc. Completely innocent content - even quaint, but a bit pearl clutching when heard through a contemporary lens.

“Adult Fantasy” also accurately defines much of modern Web3 NFT collecting. After all, who are we if not a bunch of grown-ups going around collecting fancy monkey jpegs. If that's not "Adult Fantasy", we don't know what is!

And hey, the name makes us laugh :)

Is this a project from some large mega-corporation?

No. We’re a small close-knit team that have been working full-time on this NFT project since March 2021.

Are there currently any investors or other secret stakeholders involved in this project?

No. We are 100% bootstrapped and completely self-funded. All expenses supporting Adult Fantasy have come from our genesis launch and personal savings.

We believe that this shows not only how dedicated we are to this project long term, but also how bright we believe its future to be!
